HLR Lookup achieve ISO recertification with zero findings
Posted 13th March 2026 in Updates
HLR Lookup was included within the scope of the latest independent recertification audit conducted for 3G Telecommunications. (3G Telecommunications announced its rebrand to Acudo at Barcelona’s MWC in March 2026).
The audit covered ISO 9001:2015 for quality management and ISO 27001:2022 for information security management, and recorded zero major nonconformities, zero minor nonconformities, and zero opportunities for improvement.
The remote third-year recertification audit was conducted on 7 January 2026 by the British Assessment Bureau, with certification recommended subject to independent verification by BAB Head Office.
What does this cover?
he audited scope included SMS, Voice, HLR, technical engineering and wholesale services for businesses internationally. For HLR Lookup users, this provides independent assurance that the service operates within a quality and information security framework assessed against internationally recognised standards.
What was assessed?
As part of the audit, the assessment reviewed how the business manages quality and security across day-to-day operations, including:
governance and leadership for quality and information security
risk assessment and documented controls
secure access and authentication, including multi-factor authentication and controlled provisioning
secure development practices, including change management, peer review, and separation of development, test, and production environments
security monitoring and testing, including endpoint monitoring and regular penetration testing
The audit also noted that the business had no reportable security incidents to date.
Why should this matter HLR Lookup users?
HLR Lookup is used in workflows where phone intelligence informs operational decisions, including onboarding, fraud checks, OTP, billing, retention, and communications routing. In those environments, the quality and security of the underlying service matter as much as the data itself.
This recertification provides independent confirmation that HLR Lookup sits within a disciplined quality management system and a structured, continuously improved information security framework.
